John Silliman

The John Silliman Show
 John Silliman

John Silliman  is a life-long radio listener since 1960 (at least). Crazy about pop, rock, R&B,
folk and even novelty songs.

John worked as a volunteer in radio
during his high-school days,
then he went "Pro" by the 1980's.

The jobs in he held in insurance, teaching and social work usually aren't considered preparation to become a radio broadcaster however, for John they  served to motivate him to do
what he loves for a career...... RADIO!
He serves as WGHT Radio's General Manager,
Music-Director and Mid-Day Host here on WGHT.

John's basic feeling is that life has been preparing him to mix the music of the 50s to the 80s, so there's a little for everyone
and it isn't boring & repetitive.

"We're always learning new tid-bits about songs and types of music in general."

There are no shows currently anywhere, on the radio dial, where you learn the stories behind the music, besides here with John Silliman.

Each day, with a world-wide fan base listening,
John Silliman educates and motivates his
fans to love what he does,
never playing the same
old songs all the time.

His show puts you into a time machine,
full of facts about the artists and
musicans behind the music.

The John Silliman Mid-Day Show, tune it in daily.....and enjoy the trip!

Furry friend!

Meet "Dasher"

The fun continues in the next hour with Fun at One, one fun song or novelty song that will make you smile  here on North Jersey 1500 WGHT.

The Mid-Day Cafe with Greta Latona is a flashback to what radio used to be
and is what radio today should be.

Greta is fun and informative. Enjoy all your favorite oldies served with fun topics about what's going on in the news. Greta also has a "Pet of the Day" that you can adopt. She is the best thing
to happen to radio since music!

Thank you for listening to "Greta Latona" on WGHT!

Art Rooney

Art Rooney has had a very successful television career during his time as "Looney" Skip Rooney with the Uncle Floyd Show.

He has always kept his hands in radio, working in major markets in Florida and New York. He was a regular on Howard Stern's show on WNBC in the 80's and also worked with Cousin Bruce Morrow at WRAN in Dover, NJ.   He remains one of the best jocks in the business and has found a home here at WGHT.

The Afternoon Drive with Art Rooney is reminiscent of the great days of Top 40 radio in New York
(WABC, WMCA and WINS). With great music, great laughs and great memories, you don't want
to miss it.

Play to win every weekday with Art!
At 3:15 play trivia to win a CD or DVD and on

Thursday...3:15 trivia is brought to you by Bardi's Grill with a chance for you to win a gift card.
